Caithness Citizens Advice Bureau is here to offer free, impartial and confidential advice to citizens of Caithness and North Sutherland west to Tongue and District. We deliver support and guidance on a range of topics, giving people the information they need to deal with any situation and improve their lives.
Every year Caithness Citizens Advice Bureau works with 2700 clients and helps resolve 14000 issues.
Staff and Volunteers -
We have a number of paid staff who provide expert advice on all subjects, but we depend heavily on our highly-skilled and dedicated volunteers, including those who offer to serve on our Board of Directors.
Our Partners -
We work closely with all sister-agencies, including Caithness and Sutherland Womens Aid, and we play an active part in all matters affecting the local community, with a regular contribution to Caithness Community Partnership and Caithness Drugs and Alcohol Forum.
Our Funders -
We receive our core finding from The Highland Council and other funders, including the Robertson Trust, NSH Highland, SSEN and others, as well as seeking project funding from central sources in The Scottish Government.
